Safety

All helicopters are approved and licensed for IFR (Instrument Flight Rules). They have 2 turbines and are able to safely hover even with one engine inoperative. Most modern navigation-systems, electronics and avionics complement the high-standard equipment.

One or two life rafts (dinghy) will protect passengers in case of emergency. Naturally, all passengers wear life vests during offshore flights. The extensive safety equipment is completed by a two-chamber emergency floatation system. In case of an emergency landing, the helicopter is able to land on water. (see picture)

Sikorsky S-76

The S-76 is an American type, specifically built for the civilian market. Beside the composite construction, special features are a low level of vibration, good noise reduction, high velocity and the spacious cabin-size.

Consequently, the S-76 model is equipped with a 4-blade-rotor-system, retractable landing gear and offers room for 12 passengers.
